MONTHLY COLLECTION:
Our collection for the month of April is for the Charity Fund. This is a church collection to provide charity funds available for distribution by the Charity Committee. Funds are provided to assist individuals who may have experienced hardships, health issues or unexpected financial obligations.

THIS WEEK’S EVENTS:
HarvestCall sewing will be held this Tuesday from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the Fellowship Hall.
Also this Tuesday evening at 7pm in the Sunday school assembly room we plan to have a prayer meeting centered around preparing for the Easter season. Options of small group guided prayer or individual prayer in the sanctuary will be available.
This Wednesday evening ACCFS will be with us to talk about the “Discipline of Prayerful Fasting.” This will be at the Fellowship Hall at 7:00 p.m. and everyone is welcome.
In preparation for the summer mowing season, the cemetery committee will be removing all ground decorations. If there are any that you would like to save, please have them removed by this Friday, April 11th. We would appreciate not using ground decorations during mowing season.
The Sunday School Easter Program will be this Sunday, April 13 during the afternoon.

The new dinner serving list is revised and hanging in the church kitchen. It can also be found on our church website. There are paper copies at the message center if you want a hard copy. Please reach out to Sis. Megan Rokey if you need more copies or have any questions.
There will be babysitting provided during our communion following Good Friday services on April 18th. There is a sign-up sheet in the back hall for people that can help babysit (at least middle school age) as well as children that need to be cared for. Call Sis. NATIONAL ANNOUNCEMENTS: A major wind and hailstorm has caused the need for a new roof on the Apostolic Christian Retirement Village in Sabetha Kansas. After much prayer and consideration, God has directed us to use volunteer labor to replace the roof on the whole facility. It will require 11 semi loads of shingles and many hours of volunteer labor. Lord willing, the “Rooftop Revival” project will begin Sunday evening, May 25th. The projected duration of the project is 5-7 weeks. This project will be patterned after the Winter Rebuilding ministry. Kenda Taufer: Dear Church, Thank you for your prayers, meals, texts, cards, and visits during my health issues and chemo treatments. They mean so much and have helped us so much. We love and appreciate you! A recent scan showed the cancer is in remission but that I have Sarcoidosis in my lungs. No treatment is being done at this time. I will have another scan in June. We will ask for a confirmation vote on our slate of teachers and new trustee at our Annual Business Meeting which will be this Wednesday, April 2nd at 7:00 p.m. We asked you to nominate 4 brothers and 2 sisters for teachers, 1 brother for Trustee, and we also asked for a confirmation for Bro. Darrel Stoller for Eureka Nursing Home board to replace Bro. Ed Wiegand. You indicated overwhelming support for Bro. Darrell. For our Sunday School teachers, you chose Bros. Pete Wettstein, Sam Rokey, Bob Schieler, and Ty Sauder and Sisters Joy Roth and Melissa Rokey. For our Trustee, Bro. Kevin Wiegand was nominated. At our annual business meeting we will also be updating the church on some long-term vision and current changes that are happening. All are invited and encouraged to attend. All church cleaning will be held this Friday evening April 4th and Saturday morning April 5th. We will plan to clean the Fellowship Hall Friday evening and then the inside of the church as well as the outside grounds clean up Saturday morning. We will begin at 7:30 a.m. Saturday and we hope to be done by noon. We appreciate all who are willing to help! Cleaning supplies will be provided but please bring sweepers and step ladders if possible. Instructions will be posted at the church. PRAYER REQUEST UPDATE: An update from Bro Sam Moser: Sam has been diagnosed with a protein buildup called an Amyloid, a very rare diagnosis in the lung This is not a cancer diagnosis. We are praying for an opening to get into Mayo clinic as they are a leading group in this field. Thank you so much for your continued prayers! REPENTANCE ANNOUNCEMENT: The angels are rejoicing in that Lainey Roth has surrendered her heart to the Lord in repentance. Lainey is the daughter of Bro. Derek & Sis. Joy Roth. We are thankful for her surrendered heart and the gift of salvation.

PRAYER REQUESTS: Please pray for Bro Sam Moser this week, especially for the doctors and nurses as they go through the testing of a nodule in his lung and a mass on his pancreas Bro Sam will be getting a bronchial lung biopsy this Friday, then an endoscopic ultrasound and biopsy of the pancreas scheduled in April.

Melissa Rokey. We plan to hear her testimony and baptize her with Haley Sauder on April 5 and 6. On the ballot this year will also be an opportunity to confirm a new board member for the Eureka Nursing Home Board. We are thankful for the many years that Bro. Ed Wiegand has represented our Goodfield church on the board. With the fulfillment of his term this year, we have asked Bro. Darrell Stoller to take his place. We are looking for a simple yes/no confirmation on the ballot for Bro. Darrell to begin a term on the nursing home board. It’s time to update our church directory. Rebekah Schwind from our Roanoke congregation would like to share about an exciting new opportunity for homeschooling families—the Illinois Homeschool Resource Center—which they are working to launch by the end of this year. Since homeschooling is already common among many of our church families, we wanted to extend a warm invitation to you and anyone in your congregation who may be interested. We are hosting an informational meeting on Thursday, February 13th, from 7:00-8:00 PM at the Morton Apostolic Christian Fellowship Hall (2177 Veterans Road, Morton, IL 61550). As homeschooling continues to grow within our community, many families are seeking guidance, encouragement, and resources to help them along the way. Our goal is to equip, encourage, and connect homeschooling families in a way that is firmly rooted in faith and family values. While we do not yet have a physical building, we are starting with local events, vendor fairs, and an online presence, with the hope of providing a space where families can access curriculum guidance, used book consignment, workshops, and other support. It is a ministry formed from the merger of World Relief and the Mission Committee. HarvestCall’s purpose is to enable the Apostolic Christian brotherhood to proclaim Christ and serve others beyond the capacity of the local church. Erika will have her first round of chemo today (Monday morning). She will be receiving them at Illinois Cancer Care in Peoria. We are thankful for the ways in which God has provided for the treatments to be done here and for the wonderful oncologist she has. Please pray that the chemo would kill the metastatic cells and that she would have few side effects. Thank you for the kindness’s and love our family has received these past two months.
