Small Group Winter Bible Study
· Jesus said to the disciples, “It is impossible but that offences will come” in Luke 17:1 and then Jesus encourages them in forgiveness and faith. Likewise, we will encounter offense and choose how we react. Satan wants to trap us with the feelings of offense that lead to broken relationships with God and others.
· For our church small group winter Bible Study, “The Bait of Satan - Living Free from the Deadly Trap of Offense” by John Bevere was selected. This study shows how God desires us to react to offenses and how to release the ones from the past. By His grace, we can experience healing and live free from Satan’s trap of offense.
· The study is a book with a devotional study guide that can be divided into 6- or 7-week sessions.
· You can click-here to sign up online or you can sign-up at the information center throughout December. There are two sample books to view. Please DO NOT take the samples. We will put out books to take after the new year. Please only sign-up for a group if you can be committed to coming. If you have a group already together or doing it on your own, please still sign-up so we know how many books are needed.
· Any questions, please see Bro. Nate and Sis. Brittany Zeltwanger. Looking forward to another year of growth with our church family.

PRAYER REQUEST:
Bro. Alan Roth had a stroke early Friday morning & he is at OSF Peoria. He is on medication to break up a blood clot in his brain & is responding very well. The Roth’s would appreciate the prayers of our church family. God is good - he has put excellent medical care in place. They are requesting no visitors at this time...just prayers. Thanks so much!
