Thank you so much.
We plan to have ACTIVE this Wednesday evening.
Bro. Mike Meece from our Bloomington Church plans to give a presentation on his experience in the Vietnam war. The title of his talk is “Surrender to Victory- Christ on the battlefield” This will be held on Wednesday, March 9th at 7:30pm at the Fellowship Hall in place of regular services.
Please be prayerful for the upcoming Elder Conference in Bluffton North on March 8-11th. Your prayers are very important as we discuss many relevant and important topics for our church family worldwide.
A Discipleship Conference will be held on April 2nd in Morton, IL. Discipleship is a call of the church. To lovingly walk alongside a soul, journeying with them in their relationship with Jesus, watching the perfecting work of the love of God in their lives…and in our own. Our Discipleship Conferences are intended to equip, encourage, and challenge those in the local church who are embarking in the call of discipleship either personally or with others. Join us in main sessions, breakouts, and discussion forums which will all be focused on helping the church consider the opportunity of discipleship in our lives. Click-here for more details or to register.
We would like to extend a huge thank you for all the love and support last night at the Bible Class Benefit.
The Silver Lining periodically features a topical article compiled from readers’ submissions. Coordinating with Mother’s Day, our May 2022 topic is: “What lessons, benefits, and inspirations have you carried forward from having a godly mother (or mother-figure) in your life (2 Timothy 1:5)?” God has blessed us with honorable “mothers” who inspire how we embrace Christ’s Kingdom in a dark world. How has interacting with a godly mother (or an exemplary woman-of-faith) enhanced your Christ-like witness? Please submit your contribution (length = 600 words or less) on this topic to
features@acsilverlining.org by March 15, 2022. For questions or assistance, email Bro. Sam Manz at that same address. How is
her
unfeigned faith dwelling in
you?
The angels are rejoicing in that Taylor Kloter has surrendered her heart to the Lord in repentance. Taylor is the daughter of Chad & Kalene Kloter. We are thankful for her surrendered heart and the gift of salvation.
