The local relief group is planning a workday this coming Saturday the 30th, to help a Goodfield area family. We will start at 7:30am and be done no later than 2 pm. Come and go as you can.
We need men and women, boys and girls to help clean up a large yard and get the inside of a home ready for showing. The house needs to be sold and the single father and his children need our help.
Bro. Royce Schieler is getting this organized for the outside work. Sisters Dawn Maloney and Sarah Schieler are organizing inside work.
We are sorry it’s such short notice, but please, check your calendar and let us know quickly if you can help.
Please use this link to sign-up: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/20F0C4EA5AB2BA7FC1-july.
The sign-up provides the address and more information. There is also opportunity to sign up for tools and cleaning supplies needed.
You may text Royce, Sarah or Dawn with any questions.
The Roanoke Church would like to extend a special welcome to the Eureka, Goodfield, Congerville, and Gridley Churches to join them for a Family Hymn Sing next Sunday, 7/31 at 6:00 PM. Their remodel project is expected to be completed and that will be their first Sunday back in the church. They also want to express their thanks for the love and support that has been shown to the Roanoke Church this past week and half. It has made them more aware of what it is to be "A body of believers bound together by our love for Jesus Christ and his Word, reflecting God's love, grace, and truth."
